Today, we had the honour of policing the Ashby Remembrance parade.

As the community gathered in solemn reflection, we stood not just as a Constables, but as a witness to the deep respect we hold for those who gave everything in service to our country. The silence during the Last Post, the pride in the veterans' eyes, and the unity among generations reminded us why this day matters so deeply.

Policing this event isn’t just about safety—it’s about service. It’s about ensuring that those who served are honoured with dignity, and that their legacy is protected. It’s about standing watch, just as they once did.
